SignsSpecial Sign Variance Meeting - Click Here The Luxmanor community identification sign is progressing, though at the speed of red tape. We are in the process of receiving permission letters from owners of property on corners of Tuckerman and Tilden Lanes. At the moment, we are waiting on WSSC regarding right-of-way approval on one particular lot. Once the letters and plats are assembled, they will be submitted to the county along with a permit application. This is also a lengthy, time-consuming step that involves county structural engineers visiting the proposed sites. We will communicate with you as we progress through this process. Below: Note the relative height of the proposed signage next to the tree for each size.
Proposed Larger Sized Sign
LOCATIONS: We envision the larger sign at the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Tilden Lane, or Luxmanor Road and Tuckerman Lane. Assuming one of these sites is approved by the county, the smaller sign will likely go either at Tuckerman and Luxmanor Road or Tuckerman and Whisperwood Lanes. (FYI, the Tilden Lane Medical Center owners will not allow us to place a sign on their property due to concerns regarding driveway identification for their clients.) Proposed Smaller Sized Sign
